Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show for Kids

The Disney Fairies Children’s Garden
Us adults love, love, love the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MIFGS), but it can be a little bit tricky keeping the little ones entertained.  This year should be different! The MIFGS is hosting some fabulous attractions designed just for our little green thumbs.
The Disney Fairies Children’s Garden
Children will be able to discover the magical world of Disney in the Disney Fairies & Pirates Children’s Garden. Kids will get a sneak peak at the upcoming Tinker Bell and the Pirate fairy movie and can explore the enchanting Fairy garden or hunt for some treasure in a Pirates world. There will be interactive kids entertainment along with face painting, colouring and much more.
Personally, I can’t wait to see this display, I am such a big kid at heart!
Kids Under Cover Cubby House Challenge
One of the biggest drawcards to the MIFGS is their annual Cover Cubby House Challenge. Cubbies are designed, built and decorated by leading members of the building industry to be shown and auctioned at MIFGS with all proceeds going towards Kids Under Cover.
Kids will be able to play in the one-of-a-kind cubbies during the MIFGS, the cubbies will then be auctioned on Friday 27th March, to raise money for Kids Under Cover, a charity that works to prevent homelessness amongst young people.
For details on the Challenge and a sneak peak at this year’s entries visit the Cubby House Challenge website.
